Farm Living - A Summer Day Camp for Kids

Watching a child discover how a potato grows is something you don’t easily forget. The smile, the wonder and often the shock of pulling their food from the ground is priceless.
Experience a bit of rural life just minutes from the city, on our picturesque 5-acre farm in Southworth. At Farm Living our goal is to teach your child that wonder and responsibility of learning where their food comes from. Your child will participate in everyday chores as well as create original art and crafts, like:
- Feeding the sheep, chickens, and llama.
- Learn about composting, sowing and harvesting.
- Explore the vegetables gardens and learn where our food comes from.
- Make felted soap bars and with our own wool.
- Paint with chicken feathers.
- Pick berries from the farm for canning.
- Collect herbs to dry and take home for cooking.
- Study our impact on nature and how we can do our part to heal it.
- and more…!
